GEM Yorkshire & Humberside: Creating a model for active adult engagement in small/medium sized museums

Over the past few months, Christine Evans (project and development manager) visited the Ashmolean, Great North and Experience Barnsley museums and carried out detailed desk research to evaluate current successful practice in larger museums. The aim was to create a model for adult engagement that could be transferred to Clifton Park Museum and other small to medium-sized museums. Hear about her research, discuss new models of engagement and develop your own practice during this session.

Talking about conflict can be challenging in museums, this conference is aimed at inspiring confidence and encouraging you to be brave when approaching projects and programmes. This is a joint event with GEM Scotland and the Highland Museums Forum.
