Learning Outside the classroom workshops

The Department for Children Schools and Families has developed a new quality
badge for Learning Outside the Classroom providers. The badge is aimed at
all organisations that offer a learning outside the classroom experience and
will become an increasingly important requirement for any museum looking to
welcome school parties.
Participants will:
-
understand what the LOtC badge is;
-
consider the benefits of gaining the badge;
-
examine where they are in relation to achieving the badge;
-
consider the costs involved and next steps planning.
Lunch and materials will be provided. There is no
charge for this event.
