INSPIRING LEARNING FOR ALL – THE NEXT GENERATION
Museum of London (Terrace Room)
Have you heard about Inspiring Learning for All, but don’t really understand what it is for, or how it can be useful for you and your organisation? Fret not! GEM London joined with the MLA London to plan a special training day designed for museum professionals who want to develop a greater understanding about ILFA.
The day included case studies that show how ILFA can be applied effectively, as well as a practical workshop to enable you to develop a resource (e.g. an evaluation form).
Speakers included:
Natasha Innocent - Senior Policy Advisor from the MLA Council, Howard
Benge and Peta Cook Kingston Museum and Heritage Service,
Frazer Swift, Museum of London,
and Samantha Heywood, Imperial War Museum.

What teachers want
What do teachers really want from museum visits?
How can we develop our services to best serve schools?
Where can we find the answers?
This training day aimed to help museum educators improve the quality of their schools’ programming by developing a more thorough understanding of what teachers really want.
