Glow and Tell: how heritage organisations are using Glow
10.00 – 13.30
Learning and Teaching Scotland, The Optima, 58 Robertson Street, Glasgow G2 8DU
How have heritage organisations been using Glow – Scotland’s ‘online community for education’? What makes a successful Glow event? How have you used Glow? What have your experiences been?
Following on from last year’s Introduction to Glow, this event will demonstrate some examples of how heritage organisations in Scotland have used Glow ‘meet’ and other Glow tools to link up and collaborate with learning groups across Scotland. Find out what makes a successful project, and be inspired by what schools and heritage organisations are doing across the country. This event will be led by Glow staff.
This will be followed by a networking lunch, giving participants the chance to share their experiences of using Glow. If you have used Glow, and would be willing to chat to people informally (no presentations!) about your experiences, it would be helpful to hear from you in advance. Lunch will be in the Trongate Arts Centre – why not take the time to have a look round this interesting arts space too?
