Interpretation for the 21st Century

Lead Speaker: John Veverka.
John brings over 30 years of interpretive training and planning experience to his workshops, which are offered world-wide. He has provided interpretive training for Snowdonia National Park, Natural England, The National Trust, Scottish Natural Heritage and numerous other UK agencies and organizations. He is a certified interpretive planner and trainer. We can recommend John as an inspiring and practical trainer for museum educators and heritage interpreters; professional or voluntary.

Areas to be covered include: This one day workshop will focus on a brief review of interpretive basics and look at new approaches to planning, designing and presenting interpretive programmes and services to help us face the challenges of a changing economy and sustainability for interpretive sites and organizations. We will include topics such “mass customization”, “outcome based planning”, and new marketing strategies for changing market groups.
