1050 – 1110 How people use the web. Participants assess websites using
Who for, what for, how…?
1110 – 1125 Break
1125 – 1200 How teachers use online resources, with particular
considerations for developing resources for whiteboards.
1200 – 1240 Review of guidelines and short writing exercises
1240 – 1300 Writing for the web practice: create your own web content
1300 – 1340 Lunch
1340 – 1440 Create your own web content (cont’d)
1440 – 1500 Tea break
1500 – 1530 Share and review web content
1530 – 1620 Crit room* – simulated user testing of websites
1620 – 1630 Review of key points and discussion of next steps

Martin Bazley is an Online experience consultant and Director of Martin

Charges:
The course will cost £35 for GEM members and £45 for non members of GEM.
Places are limited to 15 and therefore early booking is advised.
