Target Audience:
Museum, libraries and archive staff wishing to develop their understanding
of consulting with children and young people to inform their service development
and delivery.
Aim:
To provide participants with a greater idea of the benefits of consulting
with children and young people, via case studies and some practical techniques
and ideas to develop this area of work.
By the end of the day participants will:

Have a greater understanding of the value and potential impact of children and young people participating in their service development and delivery

Have a greater understanding of the impact on children and young people when participating in the development of museums, libraries and archives.

Have developed practical techniques for establishing this area of work within their service

Have a range of contacts via case studies or key speakers to develop their ideas and future planning
Keynote speakers and workshops from the National Youth Agency and the UK Youth Parliament.
