Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, Halifax
The learning Outside the
Classroom Quality Badge is a national accreditation scheme for all
organisations providing out of school learning. It combines the essential
elements of provision – learning and safety – in a badge that aims to become
a recognised and trusted mark of quality that teachers will look for when
planning a visit.
This half day event will provide a great opportunity for participants to
gain new perspectives on the LOTC strategic vision and quality badge scheme
– whether you are thinking about going for the badge, have questions about
evidencing the quality indicators or want to know what the next steps are
for organisations involved, the day will provide an up-to-date outlook on
what it means for us as a heritage sector.
PLEASE BOOK EARLY AS PLACES ARE STRICTLY LIMITED
Cost: £10. Priority will be given to members of GEM and the Fed.
