How are learning organisations such as
museums, galleries and archives responding to challenge and change?
How can they offer new perspectives and how can we empower ourselves to become
more effective advocates and practitioners?
This conference will address these questions and examine how museums, galleries and archives can respond positively and innovatively to issues such as access, inclusion and the merging of museum, library and archive services.
The conference is based in Winchester in the south east of England; home to the highest number of regional museums in Britain which receive over 10 million museum visits a year.
The conference is hosted by Hampshire County Council Museums and Archives Service, lead partner in the South East Hub.
