GEM: Foundation Course

GEM's Foundation Courses

GEM’s foundation courses are part of GEM’s plans to develop a highly skilled workforce that will more effectively help to improve the education, health and well-being of the general public.  The foundation courses are intended for those in their first year or so of their museum, heritage or cultural education career; or for those working in a different part of the heritage sector but wishing to take up an education position.  Since they are work-based courses, it is a requirement that applicants should be working or volunteering in the heritage sector.
