As a result of the increasing numbers of freelance
educators and consultants working in museums, the GEM freelance network was
founded in 1996 as a specialist group within GEM. It is a self help group which
supports its members by providing training and networking opportunities, raising
the awareness of freelance issues and collaborating on joint projects..
Some members of the GEM freelance network pay a fee to advertise their
services on the Freelance Network
List on this website. Inclusion does not imply endorsement
by GEM.
N.B. Many members are available for work outside their region, especially for consultancy and authoring. Please do not restrict your search to one region; you may find the person you want further afield.
