As a result of the increasing numbers of freelance
educators and consultants working in museums, the GEM freelance network was
founded in 1996 as a specialist group within GEM. It is a self help group which
supports its members by providing training and networking opportunities, raising
the awareness of freelance issues, collaborating on joint projects and making
available a list of members. Freelancers are listed
below.
This list shows members of the Group for Education in Museums working as freelancers and
consultants. Inclusion does not imply endorsement by GEM. The list is also available electronically and as address labels.
N.B. Many members are available for work outside their region, especially for consultancy and authoring. Please do not restrict your search to one region; you may find the person you want further afield.
