GEM: Freelance Network

As a result of the increasing numbers of freelance educators and consultants working in museums, the GEM freelance network was founded in 1996 as a specialist group within GEM.  It is a self help group which supports its members by providing training and networking opportunities, raising the awareness of freelance issues and collaborating on joint projects.  If you are a GEM member, there's no cost to join the GEM freelance network.

Members of the GEM freelance network can pay a fee (£75 in the first year and £50 thereafter) to advertise their services on the Freelance Network List on this website.  Inclusion does not imply endorsement by GEM.

N.B. Many members are available for work outside their area, especially for consultancy and authoring.  Please do not restrict your search to one area; you may find the person you want further afield.
