GEM/SMC GRASS ROOTS PROJECT
Update 4 - New Learning Development Officer
On Friday 25 August 2006 we announced the departure of Susan Galloway as Learning Development Officer for the GEM/SMC Grass Roots project. She had been with the project from the beginning 15 months ago and did an excellent job of providing practical support to museums and galleries throughout Scotland to increase and enhance their learning services. We shall miss her hard-working attitude, enthusiasm and good humour. We wish her well as she starts a PGCE course at Moray House in Edinburgh to train as a teacher of art.
However, we are pleased to welcome Calum Price as the new Learning Development Officer. He has worked at the Royal Museum, Museum of Scottish Country Life and at Edinburgh Castle. He has just returned from Taiwan where he has been teaching English for the past year.
