WORKING WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
Monday 6 February 2006, Aberdeen
In response to requests from GEM and SMC members, Grass Roots  organised a training event looking at working with people with learning difficulties and special educational needs.  In particular, the day explored ways in which museums can become inclusive to people with learning and physical disabilities, and design inclusive activities for visitors and groups.

SCHOOL CURRICULUM: DEVELOPMENTS & NEW AVENUES
Thursday 9 March 2006    Glasgow
In response to requests from GEM and SMC members, Grass Roots organised a training event looking at the school curriculum.  Taking into account people’s basic understanding of working with schools, this day offered new ideas of imaginative ways to link with the school curriculum and some ideas on how to extend to new school audiences
