GEM champions excellence in heritage learning to improve the education, health and well-being of the general public.
GEM believes that involvement with our rich and diverse heritage is an enriching and transformational experience that provides distinctive opportunities for learning. We aim to make that learning accessible, relevant and enjoyable for all.
GEM membership is available to individuals and institutions.
Individual members receive one hard copy of the GEM Case Studies and the Journal, the monthly eNews by email, a discount on training day conference fees, and back copies of publications free of postage and packing charges. They are entitled to vote at general meetings. Individual membership is not transferable.
Institutional members receive two copies of all printed publications. Up to four members of staff may receive the monthly eNews and the same discounts as an individual member. Only the named representative (whose name can be easily changed) is entitled to vote at general meetings.

2013 Subscriptions
Subscriptions run for 12 months from the date of joining. Payment for membership can only be accepted by cheque made payable in pounds sterling, BACS or credit/debit cards. Please send your completed membership application form to:Personal UK £49 Non-UK £49

The concessionary rate is available to individuals who are unwaged or full-time students.
Supporter UK £35 Non-UK £35
GEM Supporters receive news about GEM’s activities and a copy of all GEM’s publications. They are non-voting members who do not receive discounts on training events or conference fees. Their subscriptions can be gift-aided.
