Sounding Out Your Heritage
We know that improving access to informal learning for older people can have an overwhelmingly positive impact on their health and confidence, and dramatically improve the quality of their lives.
GEM has learnt an enormous amount from running its Sounding Out Your Heritage project and we are sharing the lessons learnt in these pages. Here is a short summary of what there is:

| Forum | A discussion forum for those interested in developing heritage learning with older adults |
“Sounding Out Your Heritage is all about getting over 60s together in small groups to explore times gone by and record their personal stories. Working together over a number of weeks, participants made some fantastic resources: story books, audio CDs, leaflets, posters, a memory box and a sensory quilt."
